not a finisher imo so far.I think the stone could be imported from Europe possibly ?
However in all honesty it did remove the stria of my one thousand fairly rapidly so maybe a step in a Natural progression .
the definition of a grindstone seems to bring up sandstone fairly often so I do not think it was used as a final fine finisher in written America history ? Shrug (=)
ok,I just used it to reset a bevel to remove a tiny chip on a razor.conclusion so far is it does remove metal fast and easily .hmmm.
