So you used crox to clean the lenses on your automobile. Well Done.
I've done that, too. I bought various 2 pound bars from mcmaster carr a few years ago, and all of them that are not the green stuff are a little more coarse than I expected. I have found, though, that the lenses re-cloud pretty quickly when they're not sealed with anything (I've never sealed mine with anything, so I don't know what one would use - maybe there's a UV sealant that's available outside of the plastic reconditioning kits).
I tape mine off and use a buffer. Call me lazy (I am).

I am going to try turtlewax. To "seal" it. Works for clear coat paint. Results TBD.
