Evening shave will tell..
hone on!
I just got my first Escher, a lovely J.G Escher Sohn. It looks blue/green to me but with no label I cant be sure.
I have been playing with it for a few days and love it! I have used it with water only, a fine mist of slurry and a slurry dilution (a few drops of water every 10 or so laps), all with great results.
Up until this year Ive always used synthetics because of their consistency. Now after my Welsh purple slate, Nakayama Kitta with full nagura progression and this Escher I can see myself jumping straight into the natural rabbit hole! :D

All the razors Ive tried so far were shaveable razors, in that they were all shaving well and didnt really even need touching up.
So far; water only: 20 laps. Fine slurry mist: 20 laps. With milky slurry: 10 laps, dilute, 10 laps, dilute, 10 laps dilute. With both slurries I then finished with clear water for 20 laps. All edges have felt pretty good so far, keen and smooth. Im going to carry on with different lap counts, I might go mad and do 50 water only laps tonight for tomorrows shave! Im also using different razors each time so its not very scientific.
Really nice Dovo Flowing
Chosera 1-5-10 Zulu Grey finish using a Misty slurry

I have always liked the shoulderless razors from Dovo
Hone On !!!
Always liked the Dovo shoulderless too, Revisor use the same blanks, they just look very classy.
They also seem to shave circles around the other newer Dovos, IMO.
My version...
