    Be careful not to push it too hard Jerry, let yourself heal.

    If I had listened to my Physiotherapist when she told me to take it easy I might not have a handicap sticker on the car and limp with a cane.

    This. Would hate for you to have a setback because you did too much too soon.

    First time I tried these two stones as a combo today, and thought they probably deserved a picture together...

    Refreshed the Eiko YSK2 today, took it to my Nakayama this is a +5 finisher, the stone was kindly gifted to me a few years ago by my good friend from Japan Florin.

    Well... That's the first rattler I've ever honed.
    Taped the spine for protection, therefore I had to start low (what with the jometry being changed and all)
    Luckily I have this weird coticule that has a very low grit (2000 or so), very agressive, perfect for bevel setting.
    Then Ardennes BBW -> coticule (same stone, natural combo).
    After that, it was Purple Lynn (pictured above) and I finished on a DGS.

    I will never admit how I tested this beauty, but suffices to say that it shows... Promise lol

    Having a bit of fun
    One on One with Tamahagane Kamisori
    Chosera 1-5-10 into my Nakayama with Kita slurry
    Used a variable ratio on it
    1k = 7:1
    5k = 5:1
    10k = 3:1
    Nakayama =1:1
    Took a little extra time on the 1k to Re-set the bevel and eliminate the small chips ..
    Magic marker test tells all 😜
    This ratio works really well for people that will probably use both Front and Back to shave with
    Stropped in using two bench strops
    One with CeOx, yes Cerium, it wasn’t a misprint, into pure clean leather…
