The instructions for the use of the Carborundum Razor Hone issued by the Carborundum Razor Company is as follows:
FILLING THE HONE:
Cover the hone with a rich creamy lather and allow it to dry in. Repeat this operation 3 or 4 times.
HONING:
The Hone properly filled with soap, apply a brush, wet, with hot water. This will cause the soap to come to the surface. Then apply lather, and hone lightly. The result will surprise you as to time required and perfect edge.
