Got this 5/8" Gotta 120 blade today from a friend.
And after a quick check of it, i sadly enough found this crack.
Is it worth working on, or should it just enter the collection??

Yes. It does not appear to extend beyond the bevel, so you just have some repair honing to do. Proportionately though, that bevel does look really large. That may just be due to the camera angle.
Regarding the question of is it worth it, I guess it mainly depends on whether or not you would be happy with it once it is completed.
If it were mine I would try and hone that out, worst case scenario it could still enter your collection.
Yea you have to try to hone it out. Years later you'll ask yourself why you didn,t....Like Rodb says, you can always put it in your collection.
Depends on how much you value the razor vs. how much you value your time. It will take a while but yes, it can be repaired. If you got it cheap and the steel/scales are good, go for it!
Can you post other photos of the razor?
The question is why is the edge so eaten away?
Is it a Cell Rot razor?

I would breadknife it, heel to toe, and not a high angle hone it, you might cause the crack to lengthen, by flexing the blade. At least until you are past the crack, then high angle it to start a bevel. Should take but a few minutes.
It does look like the steel is weakened and you will have to get to good solid steel, anyway.
Normally I don't like to "bread knife" a razor but in this case I tend to agree with Euclid440. You really don't have anything to lose by trying it. After the "b k" I'd use 2-3 layers of tape before honing it.

I say it's worth doing. I would give it a try even if the blade was garbage just to learn from it.

For 99 cents it'll give me something to play with and 'hone' my skills on. Will post more photos when received.

Bread knifing will only double the work and there is already plenty of that. Use the bevel already there. Why recreate one?
