If the bevel is not set 100%, can it be fixed on the finisher?

Theoretically, you could correct a poor bevel set on a finisher, but it would take eons to do so.

Yup, that's why I hedged my statement with "the odds are quite high..."

Vague statements decrease the likelihood of being disproven!
