Not that I can see. Throw on a layer of tape, and get at it.

Are we talking about the minor scratches?
If so, will they make you crazy?
Often you can spend a significant amount of time chasing the perfect finish. If you are going to chase them, now is the time. They question I always ask myself is, how is the rest of the razor? There is little point in getting the perfect finish on an imperfect razor. However if the razor is perfect, and you are in love with it and want it to have the perfect finish, by all means, chase it.
    P.S.
I try to remember to do a rough bevel set before I do my finish sand. There is nothing that makes me harrumph quite like getting a nice finish only for the bevel to be wonky.

I agree, the scratches on the belly would bother me. Remove them now. If you want a satin finish you must go to a mirror finish, then lay a satin finish with 600 or Crocus over it, finishing in vertical stria.

Some 600 wrapped around a piece of 6mm craft foam and a synthetic wine cork should remove most of the scratches, fairly easily. Always finish with fresh sandpaper.

There is also a small chip on the tip of the toe where it makes the turn, that will prevent you from honing the toe fully. It can easily be reshaped now with a Diamond file, or course stone.

The heel has the start of a sharp corner, it will only get sharper as you cut a bevel. You can reshape it later as it becomes more pronounced or you can put more of a curve in the heel, so that it ends up much in the profile it is now.

Do not be afraid to make correction to the heel and toe as you cut a new bevel, this is repair work, not general honing. Cutting a new bevel on a razor that has been sanded and buffed usually comes with challenges, it is to be expected.

You may also need to remove a bit of the edge once set, to get to good steel, there does appear to be a pit near the edge, (center) in the lower photo, that may give you a problem. I would mark that pit with a vertical line with a sharpie, from edge to spine, so you can easily track that as the bevel progresses.

What are the dark vertical random stria near the toe in the top photo? It does not look like sanding stria.

As said, it is not a bad practice to cut the bevels, remove the edge, couple swipes on a 600-diamond file or plate, then make corrections, then finish sand. It is also not a bad idea to first clean the blade of rust, then cut a new bevel before you do any sanding, to see any issues that exist, before you invest hours of sanding and buffing. Some can be adjusted/ removed, some you will live with, but it is good to know that going in.

The razor does have a nice shape. Photographs bring out every flaw, not a bad practice to photograph, then repair the flaws you missed.

Many things I will look into on the next one. But I am fine with the look of this blade. dark vertical random striations near the toe are from sanding. This picture is showing things I can't see. lol

My question was not really about cosmetic but more about any blade correction I should do before honing.

Thanks for all the direction you guys provide!!
