I've seen the Illuminated Microscope at Radio Shack mentioned several times around here on the forums. So, I checked it out and visited my local store and found one. That's a great little unit for $11! I'll use it in my wood working as well.

Which brings me to the other topic. For my first St8 I bought one of Mike's pre-honed Wapi's. I checked out the edge with my new microscope. The edge was basically a straight line, even under X100, that is REALLY impressive. The Wapi has been giving me comfortable shaves, even with my unskilled hands guiding it. So I just wanted to give Mike a public :y
