Shapton Waterstones
Just a brief review/evaluation. I have been trying these again in addition to my Norton, really nice edges with the 5000/15000 stones. They are damn expensive, but don't wear as fast as the Norton. Usually I will use a little paste after the Norton, but with the 15000 I haven't seen the need. These are the Pro series stones I am referring to. Lynn, I remember you didn't like the 15K, was it a Pro series?
Great site everyone!

I don't think so Lee. Wasn't very expensive and had all the writing on the top of the stone.

Here is another site as well. Japan woodworker is having a hell of a sale on these stones, appears they are clearing some old stock. There is some debate on weather the 12K stones is exactly the same as the 15K. The one I have comes in a plastic yellow case, and says 15000 Cream on it.
