has anyone used one of these to view the bevel of a razor? they claim to go up to 200x mag. i'm sure it isn't a great picture. i am just wondering if anyone bought one for their kids and might have tried it out.

I got one for my granddaughter a while back so of course I had to try it for inspecting edges on my razors. It is a "toy" and does not present that clear a picture but will give you a basic view of the bevel that can be helpful in determining how your honing efforts are progressing. The kids will love it though so it is worth the price. Grandkids are a great excuse for getting the toys that you want!!!
