CrOx really makes a great difference...
Hello gents...
Yesterday, before the shave I decided that my Othello needs a bit of touch up because it pulled a bit last time...
So, I was thinking hitting my mysterious stone with few strokes, but then I recalled that last month I did a flatbed hone that I over pasted with CrOx (it looked like a pool table)...:gaah:
Then I took the flatbed and rubbed the back of my hanging strop and then I rubbed it some more with the palm of my hand...
And there it was, my strop pasted with minimum amount of CrOX...
I did 30 passes on CrOx and another 60 passes on leather and the shave was just superb...
Now I see that less is more with CrOx...
I just had to learn it the hard way...:)
oops, I was talking about strops in honing section...
can someone of moderators move this tread to strops section, please...
thanks...
