Thanked: 1This Is Why Pakistan Razors Should Go In The Trash
For you new guys. Do not buy or bid on any razor from Pakistan. The next two photos show why. I purposely tried to snap the end off the blade of this razor. Check out what it did... It bent instead... like a curly fry! Think you could do that with any other brand razor? If you wonder why it can't stay sharp, this is why.
If some of you other guys got stung on a Pakistan razor, try this little experiment yourself. Post your results here. We won't chastise you for getting it in the first place. We will assume that you got it as part of a lot of razors on eBay.

Thanked: 2So Bill you think if we heat treated the blades they would be ok?
This calls for an experiment!

I suspect that if you heat the blade you'll remove whatever temper it might have had at one time.
Of course, judging from Bill's results, that's not much at all. Bill, have you considered a hacksaw?

Thanked: 1Hacksaw?
I suppose I could sharpen the edge of a hacksaw and use it to shave...
