Hey guys,
I'm getting back in the game, but with a very minimalist approach to it this time around.
My only honing tools are going to be a MST Thuringian and some Cr0. Do you guys think I will be able to keep my razors going with those two things alone?

you'll want a strop as well, and that should do it if the thuringian works for you
I think you'll be fine. You'd probably be better if you A) cut an end off the stone to use as a rubber or B) get one of the cheap (<$10) credit card size DMT plates. Either will allow you to create a slurry, which will give you a little more cutting power on the stone.

Thanks guys! Actually I do have 2 strops and a DMT 1200 to raise some slurry. I think I should be set. I still might use my DE during the week or on days when I get up a little late, but I fully intend on using my straight whenever possible.

Okay, you weren't as minimal as you had suggested. Be careful with the DMT 1200 for slurry. That grit is not intended for lapping so if you do use it for that, use a very light touch.
A cheap alternative would be to get a separate rubbing stone. I think Zib was selling Chinese hone rubbers. That should work for your thuringian.
Yup, that's the one, though I thought is cost less than that. I have not used one, but I remember JimmyHAD recommending them for raising slurry.
The only problem i have using mine for slurry is that it likes to stick to the stone.
I need to epoxy some type of grip to the back of it.

The stone is quite soft and tends to raise a light slurry through normal honing. I also have an old unidentified barber hone that I could possibly use too. Those are all leftover stones from my previous attempt at straight razor shaving.

Full blown mininal is razor, strop, and barber hone. Oh, and you need to include soap and a brush. I don't consider the brush to exceed the minimal cutoff.
I already have all that stuff. I have 3 brushes and a few soaps, creams, AS, etc. What I meant my minimalist was my honing setup.
