Today was my first hone job. I have a razor that was as dull as a bread knife i got off ebay (had a neat tang mark) I decided I would use this is my first razor to hone. A big thanks you the member here and the wiki. With all that information I was able to shave with this razor tonight. Not the best shave ive had but better than some.

great feeling huh, now to get another razor to practice honing on. and some more stones and.............. sorry got carried away lol
I just got started honing as well and I know the feeling of the first shave with one you sharpened. Way to go! And like others have said now I need more razors to hone...I'm sure you will want more as well.
