Ive been honing with hit or miss results the last few weeks. I watched your videos and something clicked. I honed two razors today and both came out with perfect bevels and edges.
I may be making it up but it seems I can tell by the feel and sound when its time to move onto the next stone. Seems maybe theres less drag when its time to move on.
Just wanted to tell you thanks for taking the time to make them and post them.

Glad they did some good, they are a kick it the shorts to make, now if I could just stop saying "At this Time" !!!! :D

Watching oneself on video tends to be pretty horrifying for anybody. Back in law school I had a professor who videoed each of us briefing a case in front of 150 fellow students in an auditorium. Then he reviewed the video with you and had you count your 'uhs" and "ums" and so forth. It was a truly appalling experience for each and every one of us.Quote:

we did the same thing in one of my accounting courses. Our program was geared towards fast tracking student's through to partnership at Big 5 firms... It really was an humbling experience. After that class, my public speaking demeanor and speech improved drastically. In fact, it's been a major part of my success in medical sales...
