I just won this badboy last night. How do i go about honing it? the bevel is actually lower than the tang.. I cant wait to receive it.. i really want to shave with this ancient shaver!

If the bevel is no longer at a proper angle to the spine, (if it ever was to begin with) I would definitely send it off to a pro for evaluation!
Send it to Glenn, and get a solid opinion on what it will take, before you chose what to do next. Its too nice to take a chance on. Its survived 175 years already, lets not kill it by rushing it at THIS point. :gl:
By the way, are you sure that is a Wostenholm? George Johnson used an arrow and pipe mark, I'm not sure Wostenholm ever did
For what it's worth, I would probably resort to using a few layers of electrical tape to establish a new bevel (using a hone well-suited for bevel-setting of course) and the same number of layers to keep it maintained in the future
The Wosty pipe is curved, the johnson is straight (and arrow)
