If I am not in a hurry because of something, than I do up to 4 blades in one sitting. I can test shave comfortably 4 at max, so there is no reason for me to do more. I like to set all of the bevels first, and only then hone them up one by one.

It's not about the number it's about the routine. If everything goes one two three I can do a bunch at the same time but if I have a difficult one then it's cuts it down to just that one. Sometimes I'll put that one aside and go on with others or just walk away for a bit. Though I've done up to 10 at a time I try to limit it to no more than three these days and really these days it's more a matter of maintaining what I have then restoring Eboy specials like I used to.
I prefer to hone each razor from start to finish one at a time rather than do a stage approach with a group. I find I'm more in tune with the razor's progress if I do one at a time.
" How Many Can You Hone? "
How high is up ? :p
Funny I can remember the maximum of razors I shave tested once was 9 but have no idea how many I can hone in a day.
I try not to spend all day on razors but when I hit the work area time stands still for me.
I reckon the answers so far reflect what's doable without running into RSI from excessive hours.
I'm onto an Iwasaki kamisori right now that has rusted, was dropped on it's toe & is chipped due to pitting. It will take some time.
The most I've honed in a day was around 15 razors or so but that's no where near normal for me. I think you should stop if frustrated and wait until tomorrow.
For me 6 is my max. I set al the bevels. Then one stone at a time with all the razors. This way i can get that stone put away when im done winth it. I am learning that if the bevel is giving me a hard time to put it aside and come back to it later.
