You mean the lapping stone? useless.. once i got above 1000 on the combi stones it just didn't do anything, i would stick with your DMT or use some wet and dry. Much quicker and a better finish.

The norton prep stone or the norton flattening stone? The flattening stone is pointless if you've already got a dmt 325.
If you meant the little slurry stone, like an artificial nagura, then I'd recommend getting one of those. They aren't necessary, but you can work up a lot more slurry a lot quicker using one.

You can get the artificial Nagura stones pretty much anywhere that sells sharpening stones. I bought mine from Woodcraft.com Buy Nagura Stone 7 8 x 7 8 x 3 at Woodcraft
