places in southern louisiana near new orleans to get a blade honed

Does anyone know where I could get my straight razor honed. It is not shave ready and very old. I live in louisiana near new orleans where knives are prevalent and knife sharpeners are as well, but i can not seem to find a place to get my razor honed. Please help if possible.

Probably best to send it to one of the service providers here on SRP that are highly recommended.

Strange. When I lived there in the 60's most people had one in their boot!(:-)

I'm not quite in your area, but I couldn't really find anyone close by to do it. Your best bet is probably taking Unit's advice and sending it out to get honed.
