Next time I will set a bevel before I scale the razor.Was interesting in that what seemed a minor discolored spot on the edge just kept growing to the point I was able to stick a needle up into the blade about an 1/8 of an inch.
I finished honing it,unpinned it,will make some sort of a handle for it and it will be givin a new life as a Lame knife for my wifes bread making program:)
Can you shorten the blade past the damaged section? :hmmm:

Depending on how much I want a blade I would continue to grind that edge, you have some room, hard to tell how far that corrosion crawls in the pic.
