Hell, I am still curious. How was the bevel??
Minty! The TI was NOS and I sold it on the classifieds here. Went through my progression ending on my Ozuku with just water. 3 passes and no irritation. It was strange shaving with a 3/8 when i'm used to using 6/8 and above. In the 'open areas' of my face it was a little difficult to use but around the chin and mustache it was actually quite a pleasure!
that reminds of a super dull razor i was sanding the blade on .. i guess after the 325-2000 grits it got sharp ..lol.. i had one spot near the edge i lifted the blade to get and was just doing down strokes on ( spine-edge) , 4 strokes in my finger was lower then the blade while goin to spine .. i think without my nail i would of lost the tip cause thats where the blade stopped ...lol... i learned a lesson though ...lol
Ive cut myself like that in the middle of service at work (I own a restaurant). Without even thinking I stuck it in salt and then cauterized it on the flat top and didn't miss a beat. I would not recommend that, but it worked in a pinch. I cut myself all the time and have never been let down by super glue.
In the goldsmiths shop we used ammonia on cuts, usually saw cuts, jewellery saws cut like a knife!
It stings alright but stops the bleeding instantly, you do not want to get blood on silver, it can stain it badly.
Save on the glue next time; heat the spine of an old Wade & Butcher over an open flame, then cauterize it. :beer2:
