Yes it is fascinating that these methods still stands today and even before this article as well, in another article i posted going back 240 years clearly explains setting a bevel and honing razors, http://straightrazorpalace.com/honin...ds-1771-a.html
Still in use today! Definately what makes this hobby interesting to me anyway!
