FIrst off congrats! As someone who just came back to canada with a job, a few things:

    1. Look at housing costs in both locations. my gut tells me london SHOULD be cheaper, but actually look this up. Vancouver has done a lot in the last few years to curb the extreme rise of housing market. Also: i'm guessing you're gonna be renting, at least at first?
    2. Vancouver is a big metro with lots of stuff happening. It doesn't get AS COLD but lots of rain. London is a beautiful small city with a lot of student population. Which one do you like?
    3. Google around for "median income" in both places. This is EXTREMELY important. As bad as some american cities are, median income (which I find is a good starting measure of "how expensive things get in the city") is INSANE in some places in canada. Toronto is 100k, and some cities in Canada have a median income upto $200k+. OFC this isn't a complete guide to how expensive living there is, but at the very least, a higher median income likely means things CAN get more expensive. A lower median income, at the very least, means that it is possible to live there with a low income. (Obviously, compare this with what you are being offered!).

Well, assign each company a razor. One a straight razor and one a double edge razor. Then shave the right side of your face with a straight razor. Then shave the left side with a safety razor. Whichever one you like the best and was assigned to that particular razor, go with that company. Keep it simple!

There have been discussions on how to tag older threads but no good solution was found.
    We have all done this.

Bwahahahaha....I was about to tell him what I thought of London, Ontario - nice town, but a banking and insurance city, you can think you're driving around Bay Street in Toronto, minus the nice restaurants, bars, culture and a few other things - lived there for two years.

But dammit, OP had only one post, so I "liked" it and then registered his only, "Thanks", never say we aren't a nice bunch here.

Good one Dave, caught a major necropost.....still laughing....
