Just acquired this Benchmade. Mostly because @Harrywally told me I would not be disappointed. It's manual open with an axis lock. 3.8 in blade it's a beefy beast! Dose it state what the steel is made from? I'm not familiar with this model, but it's probably 154 CM.

Benchmade says D2 steel.
Cool. I think the DT2 is superior than the 154 cm. Holds an edge longer.

Yes d2 is correct. Awesome blade and factory edge is decent but I can't wait til my bud gets done with it. I'll share before and after pictures.

Benchmade is a very good knife ,, you will gets a lot of use from that one,, it could tackle a whole tree! Tc
So far I'm enjoying it. Just can't quit playing with it.
I love both mine, and am constantly flicking and closing it. It also a great fidget toy.

I have a Benchmade Contego, CPM-M4 steel. It's edge-holding ability is insane. The Axis Lock is worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize.
