Puma 91 high class and boker king cutter, they appear to be well worn which would lead me to believe the seller`s claim they were salvaged from a barber shop in montréal.

I hope they are good shavers, as that is what I purchased them for. Paid 35$ for the set. I think I got a great deal.

Let me know what you think!

Hello and welcome. They are a bit worn but if they take an edge should be good blades. Get them honed and you'll know shave ready and as good brands should hold thiers edge well so you should be set for a while. Have a good read through the site, check out the aiki and use the search engine and you can learn alot . Any qs just ask and you'll get plenty of answers. Good luck and have fun
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

    Hi, and welcome to SRP!

Pumas and King Cutters are both very good razors. As eddy79 said, they do look pretty worn, but I suspect they might be able to be resurrected. I'm more familiar with King Cutters (I have a couple of them and they are both great shavers) so I might be able to help you figure out how much wear they have. On both of mine, the edge is about 2mm from the bottom of the pointy bits of the goldwash design on the blade.

Are the edges free of cracks and chips?

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    Thanks for the replys guys.

I found someone in my area who specializes in restoration and sharpening of straight razors.
I'm confident he can hone them for me.

No cracks in the blades, the puma's edge has certain "dents" very small by my knowledge.

I'm uncertain if the boker needs honing, looks good, but I don't have my strop yet so I have not tried it.
