FNG from eastern PA

Hello all
like a few others I've read I've been lurking on this site for quite some some time and decided finally to sign up.

Im im from the Lancaster area of PA (Amish country) and been shaving with a straight for about 3 years now. Started with a merkur DE since my disposables were causing the burn and in growns. Natural progression and general fascination led me to the straight. Started with a shavette and graduated to a dovo perlex and expanded from there. I've recently become increasingly interested in honing and restoration projects (much to the disapproval from my wife).thank you undream and maggard razors for the videos perpetuating my fascination.

I had a chance to meet Jseiler today. He came into my shop for a high and tight and to shoot the sheet about razors. He has all the signs of a real straight razor junkie. In other words, he's one of "us". I'm sure that his experiences and resto-work will be of value to us all.
