Hello From Washington state
Hello all. I've been lurking for a while but thought if come out in the light. I live in Puyallup Washington where I've been for the past couple of years. I'm in the Air Force and have been on active duty for almost 22 years. I'm still a relative noob to wet shaving and I'm just starting my straight razor endeavors but the forum here has been extremely helpful.
I'd also like to thank my brother Gary (pavespawn here at SRP) for getting me into a new and expensive hobby. My wife however is pretty pissed at him. Ha ha

Welcome aboard. It's a great hobby and there is a wealth of info and good people here. I would highly recommend going through the Straight Razor Place Library - Straight Razor Place Library and reading all you can. If you are still bitten with the bug, we have two different meet-ups planned for this year.
One in Yakima sometime in spring http://straightrazorpalace.com/get-t...et-yakima.html
and one in either Portland or Seattle in Sept. or Oct. http://straightrazorpalace.com/get-t...ttle-meet.html
Best of luck and ask any questions you can think of, we are here to help

Welcome to SRP! MattCB covered the Meet info and seems like WA has had some good increases in membership this past year... Could be good attendance for the upcoming Meets!

Welcome from Oregon. You are fortunate, there are many SRP members in WA and OR that can answer just about any question that you have. Excellent mentors available in W and OR also should you need some specific hands on aid.
