Just had a quick search apparently anything that's marked as safe for Chrome should be ok for our blades. Will pop by the autostore tomorrow see what they can give me and eliminate the patina

Try Autosol
Autosol is what I use and works great
Hey guys just brought some autosol for round 2!! But today I also used the last of the brasso I had lying around. Here are the results hoping I can get it looking a little better with the autosol but the brasso didn't do bad either. Go careful over the logos or you might lighten or remove it slightly. Lookin good though :)
Logo is almost gone so might just take it off completely next polish. Also just got a tub of tobs sandalwood shaving cream omg this stuff is the tits! Best lather I have ever had and best shave because of it definitely recommend it to all that are learning it has made a massive massive difference for me. First shave wtg xtg and atg no cuts so massively impressed think I'm up to my 7th or so shave with just the straight so no finishing off with the disposable not as close as what it could be yet but I know that won't happen till like the fiftieth shave mark minimum.
I think I may have screwed my edge again though so looking at stones are there any cheapish stones you can get that will do the trick? Don't want to routinely send it off so want to learn how to hone :-)
Congrats on the shave success. Got my stones here
