You have, in your back yard, so to speak, Maximilian. A restorer, etc. He is listed in the Classifieds under Member's services, along with a big number of SRP Members that are, among other skills, restorers. You would have the ability, not all of us have, to have a face to face sit down with an expert to explain and show you quite a few things about razors and restoration (and a frankness as to if it is worth the time, effort and money.) PM him for exact location.

Uhh.... I don't know about the "pretty" part, but "good" is probably an understatement.

Hey thanks Kyle & K.Zero your recommendations are well noted and I really appreciate your getting back so soon, I found out I have a guy named Maximillon that lives about 5 mins frm me. He comes highly recommended. Thanks also to Utopian for his dig.

Max is great! You can't go wrong with him. I wrote on your other post as well.
    Good luck my friend.

Yeah, if Max is 5 minutes away, you are pretty lucky.

I'd love to get to Vegas some time. I stopped in Reno on a cross country trip once, but have never been to Vegas. Yes, visiting Max would be on the agenda but I'd also like my wife and I to renew our wedding vows at an Elvis chapel, but I'm not sure she would go for it. Hey, it's worth a shot!

Then again, she also still wants to do a very belated honeymoon in Italy. I remain just fine with that if she is ever actually able to go; and since she has been very patient with me with my razor stuff, I figure that she'll have no problem spending a day or two with Maestro Livi!

Lucky man. I'd love to have someone with so much knowledge 5 mins away. Sure you will find out all you need and more. Probably pick up a few ads as well. Good luck

Utopian, for the best weather in Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada come towards the end of September through October, and March through May. June, July, and August are just Hell on earth hahaha! Right now it is still better than back East, but getting into the chilly 50's during the day, and 30's at night. There are also a ton of things to do off of the Strip, so if you plan ahead you can have a fantastic time down here.

Ron you want to renew vows in an Elvis chapel , they have it at Graceland. Just no famous razor makers. Tc
