Hi Ron & welcome aboard. You'll find plenty of great information on here just by clicking Library above & just work your way from the beginning. I'm sure you will find it interesting & a lot of fun so browse the website & enjoy. Have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Great to have you here.
Good luck my friend.
Thank you, I have read a bit of it already and found it to be very informative. Although I think Lynn Abrams videos on you tube have helped me the most. I have watched them many times and feel I am moving in the right direction.
Oh yes, I'm sure you subscribed to the channel. I did & it is very informative. After I started out & joined here, I bought the dvd from him but the Youtube video's are great. It's an addicting but good hobby & the best way to shave. I'm old school so I'm just that way. I do have an old Gillette double edge & a single edge for if I am in a hurry. Nothing beats a straight though, not in shaving anyway!
Well I feel I will get there, I have been shaving my neck and jawline for about 3 weeks with great results. My neck has always been a problem for irritation and I have found that sr shaving is the way to go.....maybe its not to late to start at almost 50 LOL
Welcome. I drive through Chattanooga once and a while from Augusta to Nashville. It seems pretty nice.
Welcome Ron. I believe once you have mastered the art, you will find way less irritation with a straight razor. Once in a while I'm in a hurry and I will shave with a shavette then I get ingrown whiskers. Never a been problem with a real straight razor.
Yep. I have my own shop. General machining and automotive machining. Lathes, boring bars, and milling machines plus a few other specialized machines.
Hi and welcome aboard. Any questions feel free to ask. Neck irritation has been the reason to switch for a lot of us
My shop is all manual machines and since Dad passed away, a staff of one..........me.:) I did apprentice three young high school guys in the last ten years. All three of them went to college, took up the trade, and are successes. It was a rewarding experience for me to share what I know and give them a head start in life.
Welcome to the forum Ron.
Great bunch of folks here, and a wealth of information to be had and shared.
Enjoy your journey
Mike
Thanks so very much
