Thanked: 0Hi Gary,
Thanks for the invite, I'll take you up on the offer next time I'm back home. Unfortunately I work away 5 out of 7 most weeks. When is your shop open?
Thanks

Gary is correct about the razor not been the best.
I picked up the same model in green scales as my first. Mine will hold an edge, but the grind was all over the place and it was a real pain to hone. I ended up flattening mine off with diamonds to make it a suitable to learn honing with. It's ugly as sin now but I keep it for testing new hones.
It's easy enough to get a decent blade in the UK, We have a couple of good shops and Gary is a legend (he sold me his old naniwa superstones). Have a meet and a good chat because I'm pretty sure he'll send you down the correct path! He also stocks everything needed to shave and maintain a razor.Last edited by Iceni; 03-07-2016 at 09:56 PM.
