Thanked: 1Thank You, actually I think I have some crox already I use several different green buffing compounds. I wonder how to tell exactly what is in them, the one I think is crox is a really bright green and is what I use on my final buff to really bring out the mirror finish on my knives.

Buffing compound usually has little to no crox in it and is way to course. There is a thread somewhere where they checked what was in the compounds and the grit and it aint razor friendly. You want razor quality of crox which is usually about 99% pure and graded to .5 microns.
