Hi to you all ,based in Jersey channel islands uk, about to use my new Dovo straight, been using several DE razors for a while, decided to try a shavette,with mixed feelings,hope trying a straight will be a better experience !

Hope the str8 is more to your liking also,
I don't personally like the shavettes myself either, I find them to feel harsh.Saved,
to shave another day.

Welcome. I am guessing that you have done your homework. A quick recap of the basics. With a shave ready blade, keep your angle low (two spine widths) your skin tight, and you touch light and smooth. Try to shave just the lather, remove all the lather without putting any pressure on your skin, don't worry about the whisker, you will get them.
