Yorkshire man now living in NJ, USA
Hey there.
I'm originally from Yorkshire, UK and moved to the USA around 6 years ago. I'm now hauling an 18 wheeler around this great country, and hope to find some straight razor bargains in flea markets and shops along my travels.
I'm new to straight razor shaving, so i've been putting in the research on each component required to rid my face of prickly hair moss and i've decided to start a up collection of ERN razors (as well as razors from my home county of Yorkshire of course!).
So a big hello, and thanks for all of the information that this great site provides. I hope i can contribute some useful information in return.Last edited by RiseAbove; 06-01-2016 at 01:18 AM.

Welcome to SRP. Since you are up in NJ, and looking for vintage razors I'd recommend looking into the giant flea market at Englishtown, NJ. Immediately across the border is New Hope, PA, a stones throw away, which is ........ or was 30 years ago ......... filled with antique shops. Between the two you should be able to find quite a bit ........ assuming they still exist as they used to.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Welcome to SRP and Nueva Jersey. Those places Jimmy mentioned are still around and certainly Englishtown is a good bet for just about anything. I will recommend another place as well The Meadowlands Flea Market. Enjoy the forum and happy hunting.

Thanks. I'll give that a shot too. I used to live in Mullica Hill and there was a lot of antique stores there, but unfortunately at the time i wasn't looking into using a straight razor.
