Gday from Queensland

Hello all on the SRP forum

I'm Packie from Queensland Australia, been looking into straight razors for a few months now. I didn't want to go out and get a full blade from the get go, so I got myself a Blue Beards Revenge shavette to get me started.
But now, I've acquired myself a Wapienica 5/8 razor! Only issue is I think it's not properly honed/sharpened, I went to use it and it was grabbing hair, wasn't smooth to shave at all which is a bother.
But anyway, glad to be here on the forum, have a good one lads

Hi and welcome aboard. Good idea to get it pro honed. Oz is in Sydney but may be someone closer. There are a few guys in Queensland. Dion (Substance) would know better and may be even able to help.

Be sure to post a thread in the down under forum as well and you may find a few locals.
