Hello from Cambridge UK
Hello every one a new member from the UK just restarted straight razor shaving after working shift work for 30 years now retired and time to get back into the art.
Look forward to reading tips on resharping and care for the razor and been looking at the Japanese razors I have two German razors that require a strop I had one but cannot find it just ordered two different strops to try.

Welcome back to the fold, sir. You have been missing out on the fun for way too long. This sport will definitely make your retirement more enjoyable. Cheers! :beer1:

WARNING: Be careful to avoid Jamie's (celticcrusader) "Hone of the Day" and "Shave of the Day" posts, or you will surely suffer extreme bouts of Rasor Acquisition Disorder (RAD). He seems to get his grubby hands on all the real beauties from the world over (Japanese westerns, German, Spanish, etc.).
:dropjaw:
On a serious note, maybe you could get some one-on-one mentoring with razor honing from Jamie when you are ready for that step. It's the best way to start out honing the right way.
