Newbie in Georgia
Hi!
I just ordered my first straight razor - a black scaled Boker King Cutter. I'm excited about it. After looking at razors for a bit, I went with the Boker. I like their knives and feel that this is at least a good razor to start with.

Welcome! Good choice. Depending who you purchased it from it may or may not be shave ready. Most new razors come with a factory edge unless you purchased from someone like straight razor designs.

If you add your location, even if just "Georgia," you will be more likely to get notified of meet-ups in your area. My in-laws have moved near Athens recently and when my wife and I visit, I'm going to want to get away for while
.
For that reason I will be arranging a meet-up pretty much every time we go down there. If you are able to come, it will give you a chance for some one on one help.ejmolitor37 likes this.
