    Welcome.
+1 to all above, it takes time and muscle memory, as well as learning how your beard grows (mapping it out)
I use a scything pass. Starting at bottom of my neck working ATG, as I reach the bottom of my jaw line I swoop the blade towards my chin while coming up and over the jaw line. Kina like a crescent moon shape.
Not something I recommend to a guy new to straights, but very effective for me.

Hi and welcome. Sorting out how your beard grows and how best to shave it is part of the journey. Your really learning how to shave now. Good luck finding what works for you.

Welcome to SRP, having a shave ready razor as you now know is huge. If it is not shave ready you will have much discomfort and loose interest. I have recently re discovered that my jaw line is a problem for me again, I have been growing a beard and forgotten how I used to shave my entire face :/
But I have found my way again and what I find helps me is to get my entire cheek shaved, then I do my neck from here I will have a sliver of lather still on my face at my jaw line. I pull that skin up to where my cheek normally is and I take a stroke from my chin back towards my ear.
getting both your hands to work well together will come in time and you will have many successes and many set backs but if you stick with it you will find it more rewarding and enjoyable than cartridges I hope your journey goes well and I hope this may help.
