Hello from Ireland :)
Hi everybody! :)
My name is John and I come from the Emerald Isle (Ireland) but live in Newcastle (UK), I have been wet shaving for a couple of years. I own 3 straight razors and 2 safety razors, and my choice of shave depends completely on my mood. I like to take my time when I use my straights (usually twice per week), however if I am in a hurry or on the road I'd rather go for a quick shave with my DE razors.
I have been lurking this forum for a while and definitely is the best around in this sector, so I am really excited to join the community and to learn new things (as well as give my contribution to other members).
Going for a shave now! :tu

Welcome John. I'm a Wexford man living in Ontario since 2011 and I've been straight razor shaving since only September 2016. It's a great hobby. My family and friends think I'm as mad as a box of frogs when I tell them shaving is a hobby hahaha

Welcome,
This is a very helpful and informative forum, made so by its people.

Welcome, John-We spent a week in Ireland last summer and a night in Newcastle driving down through England from a trip to Scotland too. Loved all of it!

Aloha!
Welcome! Or as Hawaiians say, Aloha! (hello, goodbye, welcome, it's a versatile word in Hawaiian).
I lurked here for years. Finally joined myself. There are real "Gentlemen" here. I think wet shaving at the level of straight-razoring attracts like-minded gentlemen that enjoy sharing and talking about the art, skill and passion we have for wet-shaving.
Mahalo!
