Hello. I'm new to the world of straight razors, started using one about two months ago. I'm looking forward to learning more about honing, stropping and restoration so I'll probably be asking a lot of questions.

Welcome to the forum. :)
Welcome to srp. I left my first wife in st. Charles area where i spent 6 years. Too much heat for me in that area. Good people too. Glad to have ya here. Check out the library and ask all the queztions you want.
Hi and welcome aboard. Any questions feel free to ask
Welcome to the forum. You are in very good hands here.
Good luck and enjoy.
Hello and welcome. Good to have you here!
Welcome, sir! I'm not too far up the road from you in northern Jefferson County. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
Lynn Abrams should be close to you. He can be your go-to man for any info about straight razor shaving and honing. Although I'd hold off on honing your own until you feel comfortable with a straight and getting good shaves from it. Learning to shave and honing a razor is like dancing a jig while trying to paint like Rembrandt. Ya gotta concentrate on one before you attempt the other.
Welcome to SRP! :)
Hi Jim & welcome aboard. If you haven't seen the Beginners Guide yet, that's the best place for a new user to start. Then like Dave mentioned, the library is an excellent source & a wealth of knowledge for you. Great to have you here!
Good luck my friend.
Wow small world I lived there for about three years on Jungs station, didn’t much care for the area either. That was about 14 years ago. But I did like the looks of old town, all the old architecture. Originally from south Saint Louis. Much nicer out here in festus, a lot quieter.
Welcome to the forum Jim, there’s a lot you can learn here, all you have to do is ask! There’s a lot of info in the library too.
