Need help with indentifying the razor

Hello, everybody. My name is Aleksey Shtraus. I live in St. Peterburg, Russia. And I need help with my grandpa's razor.

I apologize for any errors and sorry if i writing this post in the wrong theme. So it turned because I do not enought practice in English.

Recently I sorted out the things that remained to me from my grandfather and found many interesting things. But most of all i was interrested an antique razor in a unusual red case with a coat of arms embroidered with gold thread (attaching photos)Attachment 280651. The name of the manufacturer is "R & C Beinhauer's" as wtitten on the rasor case. "RICHD BEINHAUERS CELEBRATED RAZORS WARRANTED" - engraved on the razor blade.Attachment 280649 This seemed interesting to me and I decided to learn more about this razor. Perharps you are wondering how did I get here? Now i will explain.

For a while, I was trying to find information about this razor on Russian-language sites and forums... Well, I did not find absolutely anything. :( It was very sad, but i did not lose hope and continued searching for any information about it. And after some hours my patience was rewarded: The engraving on the razor from photo that I found: https://acierfondu.files.wordpress.c...=786&h=&zoom=2and the engraving on my grandfather's razor are completely identical. The identity of the engravings suggests that both razors were made at about the same time in the same manufactory.

At the contacts tab of acierfondu.wordpress.com i found a link to this forum. And now I've come here to satisfy my curiosity. Dear people of the straightrazorplace, it would be great if you can answer my questions about razor. Otherwise i don't even know who will help me with my restless curiosity.
So, here are my questions:
-At which country is this razor made?
-When was it made? Late XIX or early XX century
-Can this razor costs any money? I want to know approximate cost.
-What do the signs written on the bottom of the case mean? Attachment 280650

Thats looks like a very nice case and razor. I dont have much information to you but I bet someone else have. However question 3 about how much it could cost. Thats not something we discuss on SRP. Soo you will have to get that information elsewhere.

What I can find, its a razor made in england, made before 1901. Since there is no information on where its made. Could be made around 1850. But cant verifie that at all. Soo can be another time aswell.

it turns out that the razor is older than I imagined, it is quite possible that my grandfather got it from her father. It would be interesting to know the history of this thing.

Im not at all very good at searching for this information. But since I dont get that much of information searching for the name i would say its a small manufacturer. You should try to get it cleaned up and then find someone that can hone it. Maybe even start to try using it. Shaving with gear that you know your grandfather or grandfathers father used is a great feeling!

I completely agree. When I was looking for at least some hints of this manufacturer, I was completely sure that it was a VERY small production.

That's exactly what I'll do. It would be foolish to get rid of the thing that has remained in the family for so many generations. I will definitely bring this shaver in order and I'll start to using it.

Acier Fondu has a couple of beautiful razors of the same manufacture listed as mid-19-th century. No other info that I'm aware of.
