Hello from SE PA
Hello everyone! I’ve been a wet shaver since 1968, however have had some issues with straight razors which is why I joined this forum. Five years ago I bought a Dovo Special, and ended up giving myself a severe laceration to my right cheek requiring sutures. As a result I learned that I had Parkinson’s. So I put the razor in a drawer and forgot about it. Within the last year I’ve learned that heavier razors work best for me with my neurological issues. About a month ago I strapped two of my wife’s 3 pound ankle weights to both forearms. I then noticed I was able to shave with the Dovo. My straight razor skills have been steadily improving. Just shows that where there’s a will there’s a way, even at age 73.
