Hi! I like Japanese edged tools and blacksmithing

Hi,

I like using Japanese edged tools and the manufacturing process (blacksmithing, sharpening, design), so naturally, I thought to check out razors as well, in addition to kitchen knives, outdoor tools, scissors and woodworking tools. I don't use some of them now, though. . . not enough at least.

Welcome refcast. Glad to have you with us and I hope you find a home here. I'm still not quite clear on a couple of things. I know you said you're interested in edged tools, in particular Japanese edged tools and blacksmithing. I also get that you have checked out razors but do you shave with a straight razor? Double edge (DE)? Single edge (SE)?
I don't mean this to be the Spanish Inquisition. Just trying to get a clearer picture. If you do wet shave with one of the above we'd love to see pictures of your gear. We love pictures here.
