Welcome back. I hope you get your honing process refined and have great shaves.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Here are some pics of what I have right now. I don't buy lots of soaps or aftershaves. I just get what I need for a few months and when it's over I buy more.

OSMA soap, after and beard oil (I sport an almost full beard and shape it with my Boker).

Boker Edelweiss 5/8 (new production, non-vintage) and a Thiers Issard Extra wide paddle strop (a gift from my wife).

Some hones in a tool box. There's also a cheap but reasonable diamond lapping plate.

I recently bought a Blue Belgian at Sharpeningsupplies.com and they sent me that sticker which I tought would look nice on top of the tool box I use for storing hones.

My most recent acquisition. Shapton Kuromaku 1K which I've read it's very fast and abrasive. I think I will set some bevels on it and then smooth the edge on BBW and Coticule.

Sharpening a DOVO Astrale I bought from Straight Razor Designs years ago. I recently sold this razor along with a Rooney Silvertip. They were used but still in very good condition. I tend to prefer stiffer brushes because I like soaps.

Here's the pair I sold recently.

I also had a Boker "The Celebrated" 5/8s (new production, non-vintage) which I sold to my uncle along with a Herold Strop. He's new to straights but a true knife collector. He's not really an internet user and doesn't speak English but likes straights and knives; especially Bokers.

And so, that's what I've been doing recently. My favorite straight is still the Boker Edelweiss but I've got a TI Evide Sonnat on its way.

    Kind regards and happy shaving!
    Mike
