TattooJohnnie droping in to say hello
Hello Everybody,
I’ve been using a DE for three years this January, and I’d ready to make the jump to straight razor shaving. I do have a heavy beard with tissue paper, sensitive skin, so I’m sure my learning curve will be longer than most. I do want to give myself every chance to succeed at this, so if you have any suggestions to offer, I’d be most appreciative.
Happy New Year,
John

Welcome to SRP Johninie. Shaving with a DE for three years makes for an easier transition since you will already have multiple pass shaving with no pressure, preparation, and lathering learned. Check out the SRP beginner's guide here. As far as tissue paper skin, the straight razor shave won't hurt nearly as much as a tattoo. :)
