Thread: Oi!

Well,
I guess that it has been long enough and I should probably post my introduction, after having been a member here for nearly 6 months...

I started down the road of wetshaving nigh unto 3 years ago, due to the fact that I was so miserable after each shave with a gillette cartridge razor, and that crap gel they call lather . So, a quick google search on the words "How to get a better shave" led me to THIS article. That selfsame day, I ordered a setup from classicshaving.com. Started out with the Merkur vision 2000 brush and razor set with some TOBS, and shaves have been bliss ever since. I later joined B&B, TSD and finally found the best place of all, SRP!!!

Near the beginning of 2009, I decided to go after straight shaving, and loved it so much I got rid of nearly all my DE stuff (who needs it, right? lol) and am now enjoying the art of straight razor shaving to its fullest. Made plenty of friends in the chatroom, even started down the path of restoring razors, which is a hobby I have come to love and enjoy a great deal.

Well, i for one am very happy to have met ya on chat and do love to see these restores you do.
Though a bit delayed, welcome to SRP Matt! This site is a better place, since you've come aboard, imo!
