Hey
Hey folks,
been lurking for a while and i just recently finished my first restore and wanted to eventually post up some snaps so thought i would register and say hello
got a "boker" ages ago and let it rust a little before i got interested. always shaved with a brush and "mugs" soap which could be had for a dollar, and a one blade disposable for ages (could never stomach so much money for so much BS).
Now im long since hooked, got 2 "bokers" and a "john c crooks". as well i have also made myself two hanging leather strops and am looking at my second restore project for new scales on a king cutter.
thanks for the tips and info looks like a cool site im stoked to get in on. http://www.flickr.com/photos/3131955...76885/sizes/l/

Looks like your ready for a new brush!! Just kidding. I think that is the first first post I've seen with a "restor' in it. Way cool.

thanks guys, that is in fact my "john c crooks" from sheffield. was had for a paltry $20 from the antique shop.
i find i even prefer it over the bokers.
