    Default Greetings from Lotusland

    Hey all,

    Newbie here in Vancouver. Just got my 1st straight from SRD - a Dovo Bismarck and am looking forward to learning it.

    Switched a few years ago to DE's and after a learning curve found them to be n excellent shave. I'm assuming a lengthy curve will apply to straights as well - since my face is still smarting from the 1st shave

    Looking forward to meeting you all!

    Welcome to SRP. The DE experience helps cut the learning curve. At least you already know prep, lathering and multiple passes with no pressure.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
