    Default Howdy

New to the concept of straight razors but not to shaving.

Been stuck on the Mach 3 and Billy Jealousy cream ever since I started shaving my head a few years ago.

Recently I decided to become more environmentally friendly. I figure that a razor that lasts a few hundred years beats disposables on several counts.

Any way, now to go post today's antique mall finds and related questions!

Did you ever used the HeadBlade?

That's what I used back in my headshaving days. Took an Atra blade.

Averaged 4 days per cartride. 2 days on the head and then days 3 and 4 on the face (moving the cartridge to an Atra handle)

FOund it shaved much closer with the push action versus a pull on a conventional disposable.

Nope, just went from whatever disposable I was using before (Shick? I forget) to the Mach 3 based on recommendations at HeadShaver.org

    Default Headblade

Love the headblade! I have been using it over seven years now. I wish it would take different blades however.

they sell (or used to) an adapter kit that will let you fit it with a 3-blade cartridge. I can't remember if that was a Mach 3 or a Sensor 3.
